Celebrating Coltrane Jazz Walk @ Mander Recreation Center

Join us for a jazz walk from Mander Recreation Center to Coltrane House, ending at the Hatfield House. Remember Coltrane and enjoy sets by local sax players along the way. At 6:00 pm the Odean Pope Quaret will perform at the Hatfield House.

John Coltrane Mural Dedication @ Lot

Join us to celebrate the dedication of a new John Coltrane inspired mural, Why We Love Coltrane, by Ernel Martinez. The work honors the life and legacy of jazz legend Coltrane, a native of Strawberry Mansion. This event is a jazz cook out. Please bring you own food, blankets and chairs.

Empower to Employ Monthly Workshop Series @ Honickman Learning Center - Room 303

A monthly workshop series designed to prepare and connect groups of adult job seekers with competitive employment. Sprinkled into the workshop will be group activities, thought provoking videos, and a few homework assignments.

All classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first class meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month.
